Donald A. Crumb, DDS

Since 1976, Dr. Crumb has practiced quality dentistry for patients in and around Syracuse. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1971, then achieved his DDS at New York University College of Dentistry in 1975. After dental school, Dr. Crumb completed a post-doctoral residency at Northwestern University. Dr. Crumb is a member of the American Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, and New York State Dental Association. He also is a member of and has served as president of Onondaga County Dental Society. In recognition of his many accomplishments in dentistry, Dr. Crumb has been elected to the prestigious International College of Dentists. Trust, integrity, compassion and professionalism are the cornerstones upon which Dr. Crumb’s extensive dental experience have been founded.

Community service is important to Dr. Crumb. He believes strongly in giving back to his community for all that it has given him. For outstanding service to community and university, he received the Notre Dame Man of the Year award. Since 1977, Dr. Crumb has been an attending dentist on the clinical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in the General Practice Residency Program where he shares his dental experience with young dental school graduates. In addition, he is a member, former board member, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Syracuse and the Notre Dame Club of Central New York. He also served on the boards for the West Genesee School District, University Club of Syracuse, and Camillus Youth Basketball Association.

Outside of caring for patients and community service, Dr. Crumb lives in Camillus with his wife, Debby Eiler-Crumb, who has her own interior decorating business, and two children, Jameson and Ashleigh. Golf, pheasant hunting, dog training, skiing, and playing the guitar provides a source for renewal and recreation.

Gregory A. Craybas, DDS

Since he was 5 years old Dr. Craybas wanted to become a dentist. He was driven to continue the tradition of dentistry in his family. After graduating from Syracuse University with a BS in Psychology, Dr. Craybas attended The State University of New York at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine and earned his DDS in 1995. In doing so, he was the third generation of dentists providing dentistry in Central New York. He was awarded the Buffalo Graduate award for initiative, attitude and general excellence in operative dentistry. He also received several other awards for excellence in esthetic dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Craybas completed an intense and rewarding general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse. Dr. Craybas’ mission is to provide the finest comprehensive dental care through constant innovation and creative inspiration. He pursues clinical excellence by utilizing state of the art technologies, advanced training and continuing education to continuously improve his services, because your care is his concern. Dr. Craybas seeks to exceed our patients expectations for quality, comfort, natural esthetics, value, and professional excellence, while maintaining the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional integrity.

Dr. Craybas is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Onondaga County Dental Society, Fifth District Dental Society, and New York State Dental Association.

Away from the office, Dr. Craybas enjoys family time with his wife, Suzanne who is a practicing certified nurse anesthetist in Syracuse. They have two wonderful children named Hannah and Matthew. They reside in Camillus. Dr. Craybas is passionate about perfection and excellence, which is why he spends his personal time on sports and hobbies that require the same intensity, focus and hand eye coordination that he uses everyday. The sport of perfection that he is excelling in is Competitive Skeet Shooting. He enjoys golfing, exploring the outdoors and fine scale precision model building.

Our Team

Dental Assistants:

Brenda Chirinos is proud to have worked as Dr. Crumb’s chairside assistant, serving our patients with care and compassion, since 1984. Working closely with our doctors for so long, she truly believes in their commitment to excellence and enjoys the closeness of the entire team. Educating and working with patients makes Brenda happy because she’s a natural at patient service. On the weekends, Brenda spends time with her family, including her three children and her granddaughter. A day at the lake or a long walk brings a smile to her face so that she can bring a smile to yours.

Janelle Baker-Langis the rotating Certified dental assistant for both Dr. Crumb and Dr. Craybas. She joined our team in early 2007. She received her CDA degree from OCM Boces in 2004. She is also a licensed cosmetologist. Her expanded duty functions allow her to ensure that every patient has a uniquely comfortable dental experience every time. Janelle is happily married with four children. Her weekends are spent off-roading and being outdoors.

Rhonda Strowbridge is the primary chair side assistant for Dr. Craybas. She joined our team in the fall of 2007 with over five years experience as a dental assistant. Rhonda finds dentistry very rewarding as she experiences first hand how we truly change the lives of our patients, by giving them the smile they always wished for. Rhonda is a compassionate and caring person who is very easy to talk to. In addition to spending time with her daughter, Rhonda enjoys scrapbooking, loves the outdoors, and is a huge Red Sox fan.

Dental Hygienists:

Lisa Gilbert is the final key provider for our hygiene department. Before Lisa earned her degree in dental hygiene in 1984 from Onondaga Community College, she was involved in our practice as a dental assistant and a dental hygiene assistant. Having a strong desire and dedication for patient care, Lisa enjoys the personal relationship she forms with our patients by making patients immediately feel like friends and family. She feels treating children for their first experience is key to starting off on the right foot. In 2004, she became licensed in administration of local anesthesia to ensure patients have the most comfortable experience. Lisa is married and has two children. She spends much of her free time watching both of her children playing college soccer.

Jennifer Martino is one of the key providers for dental hygiene in our practice. She graduated with a dental hygiene degree from Onondaga Community College in 1995. Jennifer has been delivering exceptional hygiene and periodontal services for our patients since 1999. The commitment to quality dentistry and patient care is most important to her. She constantly pursues continuing education to deliver the finest care possible to her patients. In 2004, she became licensed in administration of local anesthesia to ensure patients have the most comfortable experience. Jennifer is married and has two daughters. She is a dedicated long distance runner.

Appointment Coordinator:

Joanne Engel is the friendly voice that will handle your scheduling needs. She is focused on reserving the most convenient appointment time for you. Joanne has been a part of the dental profession for over 30 years. She was a dental assistant for over 8 years, and currently holds a NY State license in massage therapy to add to her years of experience as an appointment/financial coordinator. We are fortunate that Joanne joined our team as our appointment coordinator. She believes in personalized care and customer service for each and every one of our patients. Joanne has three adult children who redside in Colorado and California. When Joanne is away from the office she enjoys quality time with her grandchildren, motorcycling, gardening, reading, cooking, and old movies.

Financial Coordinator

Vicky Macro’s dedication to all of our patients financial treatment needs is exemplary. She works personally and privately with you efficiently processing insurance claims, maximizing benefits and designing attractive and achievable payment options for the treatment you need and deserve. She enjoys serving our patients and working with a team of professionals that she considers exceptional, both in skill and compassion. Vicky spends her valuable time with friends and two children. She enjoys skiing, as well as, watching her son’s ice hockey games as dedicated travel hockey mother.
